Mohamed Khan, Khairy Beshara, Daoud Abdel Sayed, Youssry Nasrallah, Aly Badrakhan and Magdy Ahmed Aly were among the directors present at the wake, alongside actors including Amr Waked and Youssra El Louzy, and cinematographer Mohsen Ahmed. Also present were politican Hamdeen Sabbahy, activist Shady Ishaq, poet Sayyed Higab, ex culture minister Emad Abu Ghazy and writer Gamal Fahmy.
