The filming of television series “Dourran Shubra” resumes at Studio Misr

The crew of the television series “Dourran Shubra” is to move to Studio Misr next week in order to resume filming amid sets of homes and shop places from the district of Shubra. Filming will continue for a period of four weeks. The project will see the participation of a group of actors including Dalal ‘Abd Al ‘Aziz, Samy el-‘Adl, ‘Afaf Sho’aib, Yosra el-Lozy and Haitham Ahmed Zakky.Many of the scenes were already filmed at a flat in a residential area within al-Manyal. The series, which is composed of fifteen episodes, takes a look at the inter-confessional relationship between Christians and Muslims and efforts to resist sectarian conflict in Shubra. The screenplay for the production was authored by ‘Amr al-Daly, it is directed by Khaled al-Haggar and produced by Gabby Khoury.
