Ahmed Mekky to Star in Fifth Season of “Elkebir Awi”

Ahmed Mekky has decided to lead a fifth season of his hit series “ Elkebir Awi” next Ramadan. He is currently in talks with director Ahmed El Gendy about the style and the premise of the new season.

Writing is supposed to start during the coming few days by Mohamed Ezz Eldin and Mostafa Saqr, after they settle on the ideas and the storyline with Mekky and El Gendy.

“El Kebir Awi” has been a Ramadan season staple in Egypt and the Arab world, and became Mekky's most successful work on television, and is annually anticipated by fans in the region.
