Actor Morsy El Hattab, who was best known for his unique voice, and his usual depiction of the "local guy" and the "guards captain", villains and gangsters, has died.

El Hattab started his career in the 1960s, and acted on the radio, on film and on television, forming a repertoire that includes numerous successful supporting roles. He is best known for his roles in films like "Ibtisama fi Nahr Aldomoua'a" (A Smile in a Tears River), " Hijrat Alrasul" (The Prophet's Immigration), "Ozamaa' Al Islam" (The Great Men of Islam) and " Shafiqa we Metwally" (Shafiqa and Metwally). His career in television includes the series "Al Saqr" (The Falcon), "Muhammad Rasul Allah" (Muhammad God's Prophet) abd "Bent Elzaman Da" (A Girl of this Age).
