Faten Hamama (27 May, 1931 – 17 January, 2015) was an Egyptian actress who was named “Lady of the Arab Screen”. She is considered by many to be a landmark in Arab cinema, living through decades of cinematic evolution, and contributing with her strong presence to shape the image of women in Arab cinema since 1940.”

This is how the online information database “Wikipedia” introduces her in her Arabic page, although she does not need, at least when it comes to Arab audiences, to be introduced, after eight decades of iconic roles that where widely acclaimed and loved by audience and critics alike.

Here we have collected a sum of 50 photos, in which the great actress appears behind the scenes of her works, in venues, and along with her family.
