A Lebanese playwright and filmmaker, born in Egypt. He graduated in 1966 from the High Cinema Institute in Egypt, directing department. He wrote a number of films and series, including the famous children show Open Sesame. Among his most notable work Happiness Hotel, Cats of Hamra Street, and Guitar of Love.
