Mohamed Gamal is a Lebanese actor, singer and composer, born on October 11, 1934 in Tripoli, Lebanon. As his passion for music began early, he learned how to play the oud and sang patriotic airs and songs of great singers in his school concerts. He began his artistic career in 1954 in Beirut and then moved to Cairo in 1956 to participate in the movie The Merry Widow, alongside Laila Fawzy and Kamal El Shennawy. In 1961, Gamal starred in the movie Haa-3, along with Rushdy Abaza and Soad Hosny.
