He is an Egyptian composer and the son of the composer, Mohamed Diaa El Din El Hashemi. He married the singer, Amal Maher and separated after giving birth to their son, Omar. He's known for The Crocodile Bird (2008), Sea Tales (2004), and The Treasure (1993).
