He is an Egyptian actor, folk singer, and composer born in Sohag in Upper Egypt in 1914. He moved to Cairo and applied for voice tests. He presented many songs and musical pieces. Among his notable movies are The Beauty's Veil (1949), Brunette & Beautiful (1950), and My Beloved's Window (1951).
