An Egyptian casting specialist, producer, production manager, distributor, and writer who worked in Egyptian cinema at its golden age. He debuted as a casting assistant in the 1950s, after which he turned to producing, distributing and finally writing. He also acted in the films The Country Girl (1954), and Zannubah (1956).
