Moroccan actor born in Derb Sultan, Casablanca in 1928. He is a pioneer in Moroccan theater, as he directed and appeared in many Moroccan productions. He founded the "Atlas Stars" troupe with whom he participated in several stage productions. In 1957, he founded a Labor theater troupe which produced works like "The Heir" and "Overnight" by Tawfik El Hakim, which opened the door for his career to expand to films such as The Seven Doors of the Night and Hammer and Sickle, which won him a Best Actor award at Meknes National Film Festival in 1991. He died on 8 February 2011 in Casablanca.
