An Egyptian actress born in Cairo in 1943. She made her debut when she was a child in the film, Immortality (1948) directed by Ezz Eldin Zulficar. She also appeared in films like, My Son, Without Farewell, and Witness, People in the same period. She quit acting for 13 years and came back with the film, Summer Vacation (1966) starring Zaki Rostom. She appeared in many films afterwards, such as The Man Who Lost His Shadow (1968), The Choice (1971), and Tailor for Women (1969), then quit acting permanently in the early 1970s.
