A Lebanese producer, born in 1908, in Beirut. He worked in trade and contracting, and built roads in Lebanon, Syria and Saudi Arabia. He got acquainted with film producers and distributors in early 1942. He also met Anwar Wagdi, Mohamed Abdel Wahab and Layla Mourad, and then made his way to film production at that time until he became the global distributor around the world for Egyptian Arab films. He was the first to dub foreign films into Arabic. He also held the position of Secretary of the Syndicate of Film Producers and Distributors until his death in 1986. He appeared in the film Ataba Square, and was awarded the Order of Merit by President Camille Chamoun. Among his work as a producer is the film Sands of Gold.
