He graduated from the Department of Psychological and Social Studies at the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University in 1962 with a BA. He worked in the field of education for many years, until he...Read more resigned in 1982 to pursue writing. He gained recognition through writing many successful TV series, including Al-Helmiya Nights, Honey and Tears, Arabesque and The White Flag. He passed away in 2010 after suffering from a severe drop in the blood circulation.
