He studied at Shubra Secondary School, then enrolled at the Faculty of Arts, where he joined the acting troupe, but then left it and enrolled at the Faculty of Law, after which he decided to enroll at the Higher Institute of Physical Education in...Read more Alexandria and graduated in 1949 and was appointed as a P.E. teacher. He began acting at El Rihani Theater in 1939 when he was still a student. He participated in the radio program An Hour for Your Heart, and he also worked in Taheyya Kariokka's troupe. He participated in many productions till the mid-eighties. His most notable films include Love in Karnak, Hamza's Bag, and The Shark. But his artistic impact remained more prominent in the theater, and among his most famous plays are El Fardos Hotel, Abboud Abdo Aboud, and A Very Happy Family . He passed away in 1986 after a struggle with cancer.
