An Egyptian director, born in 1976. He graduated from the editing department at the High Cinema Institute in 1996. He started his career as a director on national Egyptian television, then worked at Dream channel, which was run by Hala Sarhan, with whom he moved to work at Rotana channel. Moreover, he directed many music videos. His first film was A Private Lesson (2005), starring Mohamed Ateyya, then he went on to direct more films, such as Cabaret and The Wedding.

Sameh Abdel Aziz is an Egyptian film director. He was born in Cairo in 1976. He received a bachelor's degree in editing from Cairo's High Institute of Cinema in 1996. He started his career as a television shows director in the Egyptian state television, then in Dream satellite channel. He then moved to Rotanna channels network, where he started directing several successful music videos, which was his bridge to directing film. His film debut was directing the comedy “Dars Khosusy” (Private Lesson) in 2005 which starred Star Academy winner Mohamed Ateya. He then followed with a series of films, most of which were produced by box office gurus El Sobky brothers, including the critically acclaimed “Cabaret” and “El Farah” (The Wedding), in addition to “Asad we Arbaa' Otat” (A Lion and Four Cats) and the banned and highly controversial film “Halawet Rouh” (Rouh's Beauty) in 2014.
