An Egyptian writer and production manager, born in Old Cairo district in 1940. He debuted as a production manager in the movie I'll Never Cry (1957). In addition to production, he wrote a number of films, including The Brave Men of Bab El-Shaaria, A Smile in Sad Eyes, and Virgo and Scorpio.
