An Egyptian director, screenwriter, and film researcher, born on April 4, 1939. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Directing Department in 1975. He then obtained a postgraduate degree in film directing. He's known for Lake Crocodile, The Captain, and Trip to the Sun. He died on April 18, 2019.
