An Egyptian actor who was born in the city of Alexandria on January 13, 1939. He only obtained a high school diploma to devote himself to acting. He continued to work at Alexandria Radio until he moved to Cairo in 1961 when the Egyptian Television was established. His artistic career extended for more than half a century. In the theater, one of his most prominent performances is Romeo and Juliet. On television, he presented a number of roles in the series Ibn Taymiyyah, and Sons of Adam. In the cinema, he participated in a number of well-known roles, as in A Generous Gesture, Ice Cream in Glim, and Cholesterol- Free.
