His first artistic debut was the song Hey Yo, Beautiful Cheeks in 1989. His first album was in 1990, then his albums followed after that. He broke into the field of acting in 1998, through the movie The Hero. Among his most prominent movies are Your Love Is Fire, and Karim's Ladies.
