An Egyptian actor, born on July 17, 1937. He was a basketball player in Al Ahly SC when director Ahmed Diaa El Din discovered him and gave him his first role in the movie Teenage Girls (1960), which was followed by other roles in films such as: Sins (1962), and A Nose and Three Eyes (1972). He also participated in a number of television series, such as: The Family (1994), and A Queen in Exile (2010).
