An Egyptian actor, who was born in Alexandria in 1908. He worked in Egypt Post Authority, then appeared in a number of the first films produced in Alexandria, including the movie Tragedy Over the Pyramid (1928), directed by Ibrahim Lama. His roles include Under the Moonlight (1930), Between Two Hearts (1953), and Under Arms (1940). He died in 1984 of a heart attack.
