An Iraqi artist, born in Baghdad in 1942. He started his cinematic career starring in low-budget productions, such as The River, The Desert Boy, and Echo of Memories. Adnan was one of the most prominent cinematographers in the sixties. He starred in the movie The Hand of Destiny, in addition to starring in and directing the movie The Bedouin Fragment. He supervised the composition of many songs by Sami Kaftan, which he performed on the radio. He died on November 15, 2005.
