An Egyptian actor born in Al Maghrblin neighborhood in the Darb al-Ahmar region in 1902. He worked with a number of amateur bands, then joined the George Abyad Troupe, and then moved to work among a large number of theater groups, including: Naguib El-Rihani, Misr Troupe, and...Read more National Troupe. Abbas Fares began working in the cinema since the late 1920s through the movie Daughter of the Nile, and then continued his cinematic work until the mid-seventies through dozens of films, including: Vacation in Hell (1949), The Beast (1954) and Oh Islam (1961). He died in 1978.
