An Egyptian actress, born in 1940 in Sharqia Governorate. She graduated from the Music Institute in 1961, as a pianist, and worked in the same year as a music teacher. She was discovered by actor Abdel Moneim Madbouly, who introduced her in the play The General Inspector (1961). In the following year, she appeared in the movie My Thirteenth Wife, after which her roles continued in the sixties and seventies, most notably in She and the Devils, and Thirty Days in Jail. In the eighties, she turned to television series, such as Honey and Tears, The Knights. She died in 2007 at the age 67, due to complications from bone cancer.
