A Syrian drama writer, born in Damascus. He worked as editor-in-chief of the Ad-Dustour newspaper for ten years. His beginnings were in the field of drama through the Youth Theater, then he worked in the University Theater and the Workers’ Theater. He then met artist Salim Sabri, who taught him the correct foundations in screenwriting, upon which he wrote the series Days of the Levant S1 (2007). Among notable works are the series Hot Winter (2009), Imam Al-Shafi'i (2007), and Narrow Paths (2007).
