An Egyptian director, born on May 20, 1926. Her work shed light on urgent women's issues. She was among the first female directors on Egyptian television since its inauguration. She studied for one year in the Faculty of Arts, then traveled, and when she returned, she joined television before its inauguration, as she worked as a secretary, starting in March 1960, for the American expert who came to plan the television's establishment. She then worked with him as an assistant when he directed the series A Muffled Cry. She made her debut in the TV special The Fake. Among her series: Harvest Nights, Karima, and Ruins.
