A Kuwaiti novelist, born in 1981. He won the Arabic Booker in 2013 for his novel The Bamboo Stalk, and won first place in the short story competition for the story of Bonsai and the Old Man by Al Arabi magazine. He also won the Laila Al-Othman Prize for Youth Creativity for the novel Prisoner of mirrors. One of his works that have been turned into a television drama The Bamboo Stalk.
