A Syrian actress who studied English literature at Damascus University. She joined the Artists Syndicate and became an employee of the National Theater. She began acting in 1976 through the series Al Bayader, after which she appeared in many works, most notably the series The Neighborhood's Gate. Her roles varied between theater, television, and cinema. She participated in many international and Arab festivals.
