He is an Iranian writer and director. Ali began his artistic career by acting in the play Froud Siyavshan, directed by Maryam Motaref. He was an actor and assistant director in two plays by Davood Mir-Bagheri; Dandon Tala and Majlis Zankeshi. He played a small role in Sagkoshi. He made his first feature film, Chaleh (2009), in Kashan. He has worked as an assistant and programmer in cinema and television with historical projects such as the documentary about Alexander the Great. He is known for I Hate the Dawn (2014) and Hattrick (2018).
