Egyptian writer and theater director with a degree in Drama and Criticism from the High Institute of Performing Arts in 1981. Has has an Honorary Doctorate from the Cambridge Academy of Science and Technology. He was General Manager of the theater group under 18 affiliated to the Art House of Folk and Performing Arts. He directed plays such as Where Do I Get People? (1984) and Playing with Masters (2009).
