An Iraqi actress, born in Kuwait, where she also lived. She studied at the Dijla and Al Rasafi School, then she graduated from the Religious Institute. She began her career in the late eighties in two plays, including The Cage. Her real beginning was on television with the artist Tariq Al-Ali. She was famous for playing evil and comedic roles. She is the older sister of actress Shahad Salman and the mother of the retired actress Al-Anoud, who graduated from the Higher Institute of Arts, Department of Directing and Acting.
