He was born in Assiut Governorate. He joined the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts. He began his artistic career by working in the theater, where he participated in acting in the play The Scream. From the theater, he set out to participate in many cinematic works, such as Shehata's Shop. In television shows, he acted in many series including The People of Cairo, besides his roles in the documentary The Village of Secrets.
