Ashraf is a young screenwriter whose talents were discovered by the director and producer Hany Girgis Fawzy. The pair worked together on the title “Ahasees” (“Sensations”) which was to prove very controversial. The production drew attacks from critics who perceived it as an unwanted blemish on Egyptian cinema history.
