An Egyptian writer, director, academic and translator, born on February 7, 1974. He obtained a BA in Arts and Education in 1995, a BA from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 2000, a MA in Drama in 2005 and a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Arts in 2015. He also received a diploma In the arts in 2002, and worked as a teacher in the Department of Drama and Criticism at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. He was an editor in Al-Ahram and Al-Ahram International newspapers, and supervisor of the opinion page in Al-Badeel newspaper. He has published books: Theatrical Language in Anton Chekhov's Theater, America.. Excavations of the Foundation, and a novel Because Things Happen.
