Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian actor born on October 23, 1976. Reynolds began his career working on Canadian television but soon moved to the United States where he was cast alongside legendary actress Glenn Close in the TV movie "Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer...Read more Story" in 1995. He followed this with a leading role in "In Cold Blood" (1996), a made-for-TV adaptation of Truman Capote's novel by the same name. Reynolds soon moved into film, appearing in teen comedies like "Dick" (1999) and "Van Wilder" (2002). Reynolds is best known for leading roles in the critically successful "The Nines" (2006), "The Proposal" (2009) with Sandra Bullock, "Adventureland" (2008) and "The Green Lantern" (2011).
