A Syrian director, born in the Syrian capital, Damascus. He joined the Syrian Artists Syndicate in 1974. He took a course in drama at the Arab States Broadcasting Union, another course in East Germany, and a television special effects course from Italy. He worked on television in a number of official celebrations, variety programs, songs, competitions, and concerts. Some of his credits are The Trap (1979) and The Postman (1977).
