An Egyptian director and writer, who traveled to Kuwait in 1974, worked as a supervisor for radio activities in the Ministry of Education for nearly twenty years, and supervised the well-known TV and radio program With Students. He is considered one of the most prominent radio drama writers in Kuwait, and he won the Golden Creativity Award from the Cairo Radio and Television Festival for Report No. 1, and A House Without Problems. Among his notable radio programs are The Right Building, for which he wrote 360 episodes, The Prophet’s Biography, and The Citadel of Light. He presented a series of programs during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Media Center in Cairo, via Kuwait Radio. Kuwait granted him permanent residency for life due to his great services, and he directed the Kuwaiti Encyclopedia for Kuwaiti Radio. Among his famous television works are Family House, Al Qarmeed, and Black and White Family. He died on February 25, 2005, after a struggle with illness.
