An American actor, director, producer, and writer, born in Wisconsin, United States. He is best known for his action and science-fiction films. He made his feature film debut in 2004, but he gained recognition with the movie 300 (2006). In 2009, he directed the movie Watchmen. In 2004, he and his wife, Deborah Snyder, founded a production company. He joined the DC Extended Universe, working on Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. His other notable works include Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021).
