Egyptian actor and producer. He debuted his artistic activity in the mid-fifties. He worked in theatre, cinema and television. He played supporting secondary roles, such as the role of director, judge, senior official, and businessman. He is known for Class Distinctions (1954), Adam Returns to Heaven (1982), and You're Free (1981). He worked as the director of the Rihani Theater. He was the father of the Mohamed Sobhi.
