Jason Segel is an American actor, screenwriter, composer, puppeteer and musician known for his roles on television series "How I Met Your Mother" and "Freaks and Geeks" as well as Apatow collaborations like "Knocked Up." He wrote and starred in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"...Read more (produced by Apatow) based on his real life breakup with "Freaks and Geeks" co-star Linda Cardellini. His character in the film writes and produces a Dracula musical with puppets, an idea that preceded the film. He developed the idea and pitched it to Disney, which resulted in the return of the Muppets to the big screen after a 12-year hiatus. Segel wrote and starred in the well-received "The Muppets" (2011) alongside Amy Adams. In 2010, "Get Him to the Greek" expanded upon Segel's nemesis in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," rock star Aldous Snow. Segel co-wrote most of the soundtrack music by the fictional band Infant Sorrow. Segel starred in "Five-Year Engagement" (2011) with Emily Blunt and "I Love You, Man" (2009) with Paul Rudd and Rashida Jones.
