The English actor Edward Thomas "Tom Hardy" was born on the 15th of September 1977. At the age of 21, he won "The Big Breakfast's Find Me a Supermodel" competition. He married Sarah Ward in 1999 and they got divorced in 2004. He has a son called "Louis Thomas Hardy" from his ex-girlfriend "Rachael Speed". He made his career debut in 2001 through the war thriller film" Black Hawk Down". In 2003, Hardy appeared in film "dot the i" and" The Reckoning". In the same year he was awarded in the 2003 London Evening Standard Theatre Award for his performances in "Blood" and "In Arabia We'd All Be Kings". Two years later he started to appear more in many movies including: "Sweeney Todd", "A for Andromeda", "Gideon's Daughter", "Minotaur", "Marie Antoinette" and" Scenes of a Sexual Nature" to continue his leading roles in 2007 with "Flood", "WΔZ", "The Inheritance and Stuart: A Life Backwards" in which he played the role of "Stuart Shorter" and was nominated for British Academy Television Award for Best Actor. His role of gold was in: Inception"(2010) science fiction thriller movie in which he played the role of "Eames" and received Rising Star Award, BAFTA in addition to Scream Award for Best Breakthrough Actor and he was nominated for London Film Critics Circle Award for Best British Supporting Actor, Phoenix Film Critics Society Award for Best Ensemble as well as Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor. In the current year he played the role of Tuck in the romance movie "This Means War" (2012).
