An American director, writer, and actor, born on August 7, 1964 in Lynnwood, Washington. He began his career in the field of animation with the 1988 short film The Thing What Lurked in the Tub, and in the same year did a voice performance in the short film Lea Press on Limbs. His most notable work includes Madagascar (2005), Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008), Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012), and Penguins of Madagascar (2014).
