Jessica Lucas is a Canadian actress born on September 24, 1985, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to a black father and a white mother. She got involved in theater productions at age 7 and has been pursuing acting ever since. After several years on stages all over Vancouver, she moved into television and landed her first screen appearance on the UPN sci-fi series "Seven Days" in 2000. Since, she's appeared in "Cloverfield" (2008), "Melrose Place" (2009-2010), and "Evil Dead" (2013).
