He is a former model and actor, born on November 14, 1972 in Minot, North Dakota. He debuted his career through fashion shows, commercials, and music videos. He trained with Scott Sedita Acting Studios, after which he started acting in the soap opera All My Children in 1999. He had his cinematic debut through the movie Win a Date with Tad Hamilton (2004). He is known for Life as We Know It (2010), New Year's Eve (2011), Safe Haven (2013), and as Captain Lennox in four of the Transformers films.
