An American writer and producer, born in El Paso, Texas, United States. He is best known for creating the Star Trek television series in the 1960s. He was one of the pioneers of science fiction films. Some of his credits include Star Trek (1966-1969) and Avalon Lost (2019). He died on October 24, 1991.
