An American actor and screenwriter, born on June 28, 1966 in Evanston, Illinois. He is the son of Dick Cusack, an actor and documentary filmmaker, and the brother of actresses Joan and Ann Cusack. He graduated from Evanston Township High School. His work includes Grosse Pointe Blank, High Fidelity, Say Anything, and 1408.


John Paul Cusack is an American actor and screenwriter who was born on the 28th of June, 1966 in Evanston, Illinois. Cusack’s father, Dick Cusack, was a documentarian who owned his own production company. John Cusack first came to the public’s attention in the 1980s when he appeared in a string of teen movies that included “The Sure Thing” and “Sixteen Candles”. Later years brought Cusack box office success as he portrayed diverse roles in such titles as “Con Air”, which was to become a major box office hit, and the Kauffman classic “Being John Malkovich” which received unanimous commendation from critics. Cusack continues to appear in cinema titles regularly and among his most recent works was a role on the disaster film “2012” which saw him act alongside fellow Hollywood veteran Amanda Peet.
