An American writer, director, and producer born in Rapid City, South Dakota, the United States of America on May 15, 1959. He married Amaryllis Borrego. His most famous works include Nightwatch (1988), The Waterdance (1992), There's Something About Mary (1998), and The Cave (2005). He won numerous awards, including the Sundance Award, the Spirit Award, and the MM's Award.
