A New Zealand director, producer, and screenwriter, born in Wellington, New Zealand. He began his career in Hurry Hurry Faster Faster (1965) and Tank Busters (1970) and left his mark in theatrical performances in the seventies. He also appeared in a number of television works during that period. His early works as a director include the series Percy the Policeman (1974) and Blerta (1976). He was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit in 2014. He died on December 3, 2018.
