An American actor, born in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Before becoming an actor, he was a manager in Gimbels Department Store. At the age of 30, he decided to pursue acting. He enrolled at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and took acting lessons. He made his debut in the TV series Dark Shadows. His credits include Amadeus (1984) and Cat's Eye (1985). He won an Obie Award for his performance in the play Weekends Like Other People. He died at age 56 on January 8, 1989 in Santa Monica, California.
